Kaspersky Internet Security 2016 RELEASED!
A MUST HAVE if you are installing Windows 10
Personally I would install 2016 (however if you install 2015 make sure it has patch C)
Please uninstall Kaspersky completely and REBOOT before you upgrade to Windows 10 and install 2016 fresh when Windows 10 is running smoothly with all upgrades etc. Most should by now be able to download 2016 from the official page on the global site: http://www.kaspersky.com/product-updates, if you still don’t see 2016 and cannot wait then the direct links to the US site is below:
2016 Downloads: Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Internet Security and Kaspersky Total Security 2015 Downloads with patch C included: Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security
Good practice advice:
Disable Windows defender (Use option #1) and make sure all Windows updates are installed and a reboot done before you proceed to install Kaspersky.
If you haven’t installed Windows 10 yet: Uninstall the Kaspersky version you have installed now and reboot before you proceed to install Windows 10. when that is installed and fully updated, do another reboot before you proceed to install Kaspersky 2016, update it and reboot.
If you have installed Windows 10 already: …..and perhaps have some issues: Uninstall the Kaspersky version you have installed now and reboot, then install Kaspersky 2016, update it and reboot.
If you cannot uninstall an older version of Kaspersky: Run this tool as the last resort.
